Beaujolais Nouveau Day
at Cardiff Castle and the Norwegian Church
November 15th 2012
In France, every year at midnight on the third Thursday of November the first bottles of Beaujolais Nouveau are opened, and thousands of celebrants begin drinking this
young wine which is produced in a Burgundy region. The wine is then transported to Britain – arriving on Uk Shores early in the morning, and distributed across the country
so that thousands of enthusiasts can be among the first to enjoy it.
